Many of my portraits are taken in casual, every day settings. I do not work out of a studio, and don't particularly care for the stiff poses that often occur in such settings. I want my subjects to feel at ease, and comfortable. Often, anxiety can set in when sitting in front of a camera, and it makes for an unflattering photo. (Unless, of course, we discussed capturing that anxiety for a reason)
Natural light, comfortable setting, and the right moment can capture a great story.
I hope my portraits tell those stories.
